EPIC INTENSEな斬新なサウンドをテーマに制作されたKAMIJOのミニアルバムがリリース！
タイトルチューン「VIOLET DAWN」「The Anthem」「Twilight」等、中毒性の高い新曲5曲を収録。
LAREINE、Versaillesといったバンド活動を経て、今年でキャリア29年、ソロデビュー11年を迎えるKAMIJOが、新たなる領域へ大胆に足を踏み入れた刺激的な一作。
完全生産限定盤には、今年4月20日にZepp Shinjukuにて行われた「Visual Rock Identity -The Anthem-」からストーリーに関連する楽曲を抜粋したライヴDVDが付属。KAMIJOの声優デビューとなったストーリー映像が待望の作品化となる。さらにはライヴドキュメンタリー映像や全曲のInstrumental CDも付属した豪華3枚組。
「VIOLET DAWN」の世界観没入仕様の初回限定盤には、リードチューン「The Anthem」のMUSIC VIDEOと同曲のメイキング映像を収録したDVDが付属。
期間限定で発売のアニメジャケット限定盤はストーリーイラストで構成された特別なジャケットデザイン。通常盤を含む4タイプが同時リリースとなる。

サポメンが90年代のV系出身者（特にギター2人）なのもあって、下に名前が出てますがKAMIJOさんがAcid Black Cherry化してる感がありますが、よく考えるとLareineとJanne Da ArcとΛuciferって同じ99年デビューなんですよね。そんな人たちが、バンドが変わってもこうやって現役バリバリで活躍している姿が見られるのは、あの時代の直撃世代として嬉しい。
楽曲の良さは言わずもがなですがKamijoのビジュが老けるどころかどんどん進化してるのはなんなんですかね😅

色々と辛い事ばっかりあるけど、KAMIJOさんの歌声聴いてると生きててよかったと思える。
鐘の音などのクラシカルな要素に現代的な音楽が見事に調和していて、スピード感のあるテンポがかっこよくて、KAMIJOらしくもありながらKAMIJOさんの過去楽曲とは一線を画した、これまでにない音楽といった感じでした。
ルイのストーリーも幕を閉じ、ここから新しいストーリーと音楽が始まるということを象徴する楽曲、正に国家だと感じました。
the Anthemとミニアルバムを皮切りにこれから新しい音楽を聴けることを心待ちにしております。
間違いなく、今の音楽業界に足りないところ。
KAMIJOさんのような、これほどカッコイイ曲を作り続けられるロックミュージシャンがまだ存在すること感謝してもしきれない...
